Journey To Peru

The Mystery of the Andes

Experience it yourself

For many people just hearing the words "Machu Picchu" stirs an ancient memory and a longing deep within. There's a feeling of something important that lies in this wondrous and magical place that is wanting to be touched, explored and understood more deeply. It is this inner calling, a mystery of the soul, that first brought Don and Nina to Peru and moved them to bring others with them on subsequent journeys. The Sacred Valley, a treasure chest of ancient temples and initiation sites, majestic mountains and dramatic climates that mark the rich history of the Inca empire, is home to our Quechua family. Through sharing their ceremonies and teachings and the love which so effortlessly flows from their hearts, our Quechua brothers and sisters help us to open to the living energies of the Andes. They are indigenous lineage holders of the ancient wisdom of Pachamama, our Mother Earth. They hold, as do many of the indigenous peoples of our planet, a deep and primal understanding of the principles of unity and community that humanity is striving to reconnect with at this time. We are blessed to be invited into the homes and hearts of the family of our Grandfather Don Maximo, elder lineage holder, teacher, healer and shaman and his grandson Puma Quispe Singona who is also our guide and teacher.

"I will never forget the moment we stepped into the airport at Cusco and looked up to a huddle of beautiful, smiling Incan faces waving wildly at us, throwing kisses, jumping joyfully at our arrival. I felt as if I arrived at the home I never knew to the family I had never met."
